AgeniQA — Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how trials, subscriptions, cancellations and refunds
work for the AgeniQA service operated by Bruno Mota.
This document requires legal review before it is relied upon. It is
published as a starting structure. Passages in square brackets are
business decisions that have not been made yet.
1. Free trial
A trial runs for 30 days from the moment it is activated.
No charge is made during the trial. You can cancel at any point before it
ends from Billing inside your account, and nothing will be charged.
2. What happens when a trial ends
If you selected a plan when starting the trial, the subscription begins
automatically when the trial ends and the payment method on file is charged
for the first period.
If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made and access continues
until the trial's original end date.
3. Subscription periods and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period - monthly or
annual, whichever you chose - until cancelled. The renewal date and amount
are shown on the Billing page in your account before each renewal.
4. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time, yourself, from Billing in your account. No
phone call, no email, and no request to support is required.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid
for. You keep full access until then. We do not shorten access you have
already paid for.
5. Refunds
[Requires a decision. State here whether periods already paid for are
refundable, in whole or in part, and in what circumstances. If the answer
is that they are not refundable except where the law requires it, say
exactly that. Do not publish a money-back guarantee unless the company
intends to honour one.]
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any refund or cancellation right
you have under mandatory consumer law, including any statutory right of
withdrawal that applies to your purchase.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails we retry it a limited number of times and email the
billing contact. If it continues to fail, the workspace is suspended -
access stops, data is retained. Settling the outstanding amount restores
access.
7. Upgrades and downgrades
An upgrade takes effect immediately.
A downgrade takes effect at the start of the next period, so you keep the
allowances you have paid for until then. If your workspace is over the
lower plan's limits when the downgrade takes effect, the affected features
become read-only until you are back within them; nothing is deleted.
[Requires a decision. State whether an upgrade mid-period is charged
pro rata or in full at the next renewal.]
8. Your data after cancellation
Cancelling stops the billing. It does not immediately erase the workspace.
Data belonging to a cancelled or lapsed workspace is retained for
30 days [requires a decision: confirm the retention
period for cancelled paid subscriptions, which need not match the trial
period] so that you can export it or reactivate. After that it is
permanently deleted.
You can request erasure sooner. See the Privacy Policy for how, and for the
records we are required to keep regardless - invoices and tax records in
particular have statutory retention periods that a deletion request does
not override.
